Paper Plane Competition

This week we are looking at how paper plane shapes and design relate to how they fly. We will have a competition on Friday with three rounds. See the poster below...

For homework this week, the children can research and learn how to build paper airplanes to enter in the competition. It's easiest to follow video instructions, so here is a good start.

We will also build some of the world record breaking planes in class. The only rules are that it must be made from only A4 paper. Good luck!

  4. For the paper plane challenge we made two planes and wrote our names on them and we put one plane in one basket and one in the other and the first basket was Longest distance and the other was Longest flight time. And Mr.Matt was the person that pulled one plane out of the basket for all the rounds.
